The City of London Phonograph &
Gramophone Society is, in effect, the British National Society for those
interested in gramophones, phonographs, disc and cylinder records, discography
and research and study of these subjects. In 2009 it is celebrating its 90th
anniversary! Besides its quarterly magazine ‘For The
Record’, the Society has published many books over the years, and currently
offers an impressive array of label listings, available at a discount to its members.
